Hope you are all well!!!
I don't have much weight to lose, but I have just been stuck in a rut for about a year and a half now. I feel so unhappy with my weight and everytime I attempt to lose weight I may lose a couple of pounds but then i just become disheartened because the process is slow and i think i am never going to manage as I don't know if i'm eating the right food etc, and so, I give up. This is why I am determined to stick to Lighter Life - You are given your food packs and don't have to worry about calorie counting!!!! Brilliant!! Also all of the success stories and rapid weight loss is such an inspiration.....I just had to give it a go!


My Goal is to be 17lbs lighter. Fingers crossed!!!!

Not updated in ages!!! Well I have stuck to the plan this week, although I have to say, I don't think I have drank as much water have found it hard the past 3 days at work to do so! and I did a ketosis test on thurs during the day and it said i was in ketosis, then I did one later, just before bed and it came up negative. Had my first weigh in - lost 5 and 1/2lbs!! woohoo!! Can't believe it!
Was so nervous, it has all paid off!
Hopefully can look forward to another weight loss next week!

Day 7/ Night 7 [ Show blog ]
Felt alright yesterday....still feeling like my limbs are weak at times but think my body in just getting used to this new way of eating! Have the worst taste in my mouth :/ but it's probably a sign im in ketosis right?

Friday I felt great in the morning! feeling slimmer too,don't know if that's coz i'm not eating carbohydrates or coz i've actually lost weight, but either way - feeling slimmer which is a great motivation to carry on!

Went up to visit my mum and dad for the weekend, mum was suggesting to go out for dinner since my brother and I were both home and felt bad saying no but didn't want to ruin my firs...

So last night was my last night shift til sunday!!! yyyeeeeyyy!!! so happy!! i managed to eat all my packs plus my ham and chicken salad i made. Didn't drink as much as i'd have liked to though. So end of Day 2 - or should i say night 2 since i am working nightshift at the moment. So went and met my counsellor for the first time last night - she was lovely! quite scared bout starting this, heard how great it is and how successful people have been but think I might just be one of the few who this doesn't have an effect on.

Was working last night so started the programme at work. Managed quite well!
